Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stadin Kingi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stryker Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingi comes to the cage accompanied by Kahvimaito. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne misses the shot to the body.
Kingi gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Payne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Payne!


It looks like Stadin Kingi has been cut.
Kingi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Payne with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Kingi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Payne cracks Kingi with a good jab.
Kingi throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Payne counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Payne throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Payne throws a looping overhand right but Kingi ducks down to avoid it.
Kingi doesn't manage to clinch there - Payne circles away.
Kingi defending well as Payne loads up on a big left hand.
Kingi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kingi misses with an uppercut.
Payne throws out a counter right but Kingi avoids it with no problem.
Kingi scores with a shot to the body.
Payne misses with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Payne tests Kingi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stadin Kingi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kingi loads up on a big right hand but Payne slips the punch.
Kingi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Payne has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kingi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Payne moves away.
Payne throws a jab but it's blocked by Kingi.
A swing and a miss from Kingi.
Payne misses with a wild body shot.
An inside leg kick from Kingi misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kingi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kingi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Some wild striking there from Payne.
Payne misses with a hook
and Kingi counters with a stiff right hand.

Kingi takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kingi's corner calls for a 1-2. Kingi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kingi ducks under a wild hook from Payne.
Payne scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingi throws a body kick that misses.
Payne lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Kingi is rocked!
Payne throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Kingi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kingi tries to score with a low kick but Payne moves his leg out of the way.
Payne swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Payne misses with a series of wild punches.
Kingi seems to have got his legs back now.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Payne checks a leg kick.
Payne drops Kingi with a huge uppercut! Kingi drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Payne is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stryker Payne!
A relieved looking Stryker Payne thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
