The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp swats away the attempt to clinch by Gain.
Sharp's corner calls for a 1-2. Sharp obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gain tries for a takedown but Sharp circles away easily
and Gain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sharp thumps Gain with a low kick.
Bruce Gain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp works over Gain's head and body with a nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
