Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicken has chosen Killing in the name of as his entrance music. Mike Chicken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chicken goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Chicken feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

No joy there for Chicken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramsey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Ramsey is nestled in close to Chicken, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ramsey connects with a nice short shot to Chicken's temple.

That was a close round but I would say that Gordon Ramsey will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gordon Ramsey will probably get the nod.

Chicken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramsey's guard.

Ramsey had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chicken is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ramsey Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chicken's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gordon Ramsey.
Well Ramsey has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
