Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Randall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 20 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rock Allen!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randall fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Randall is defended easily by Allen.

Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Randall seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Randall looking to control.
Allen throwing strikes from guard but Randall blocks nicely.
Randall keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully.
Randall controls Allen momentarily but Allen frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen trying to control but Randall is working from the bottom.
Allen throwing strikes but missing.
Allen throws a big elbow that misses.
Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Randall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Randall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Allen landing with the ground and pound.
Allen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Randall is keeping the position for now.

Randall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Allen defends it easily.
Allen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Allen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Randall is trying to keep Allen in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen wants to pass the guard but Randall is keeping the position.
Allen stopping the sweep attempt from Randall.
Allen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Allen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Allen throws a big elbow that misses.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Allen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Randall has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Allen has passed into side control.
Randall taking punishment in the form of punches.

Allen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Randall is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen working the head and body with strikes.
Allen wants to take a breather but Randall is having none of it.
Allen moves nicely into side control.

Allen is working to tighten his grip on Randall's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Randall has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Allen is really squeezing tight and eventually Randall passes out! Allen breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Our winner, Rock Allen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
