The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalgratas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but El Toro checks it well.
Jalgratas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jalgratas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jalgratas throws a head kick that misses.
Despite the aggression on El Toro's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

El Toro walks into a left hand.

El Toro closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jalgratas did well to prevent El Toro getting side control.
Jalgratas wants to control but El Toro is keeping busy.

El Toro decides to stand up.
The fighters circling - El Toro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
El Toro looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jalgratas throws a jab but it's blocked by El Toro.
Jalgratas wants to clinch up but El Toro keeps it at a distance.
El Toro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The crowd cheers as El Toro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jalgratas doesn't seem phased though.
Jalgratas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but El Toro was well out of range. Poor timing from Jalgratas.

El Toro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Jalgratas has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but El Toro is on him like a limpet, forcing Jalgratas back against the cage.

El Toro throws a sloppy head kick and Jalgratas moves out of range easily.
Jalgratas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from El Toro.
El Toro has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Jalgratas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
