The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson throws a series of punches but Cobb moves out of range.
Pearson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cobb stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been told by Cobb's head coaches at Cobb that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Cobb wants to clinch.
Pearson looks to throw the jab but Cobb is out of range.
Pearson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Semmy Cobb has been cut.
Cobb moves in looking to clinch but Pearson pushes him off.
Cobb tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pearson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cobb is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pearson throws out a counter right but Cobb avoids it with no problem.
Cobb tries to clinch but Pearson is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cobb tries to clinch there but Pearson circles away.
Cobb tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pearson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pearson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Cobb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Pearson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cobb closes the distance but Pearson moves to the side
letting Pearson counter with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cobb.
Cobb tries to clinch up but Pearson circles away and keeps his distance.
Cobb wants to clinch up but Pearson keeps it at a distance.
Cobb tries to close the distance and clinch but Pearson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cobb wants to clinch but Pearson slips to the side
and Pearson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Good shot there by Pearson.
Pearson cracks Cobb with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pearson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cobb to stand back up!
Cobb is rocked!
Semmy Cobb's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
BAM! Pearson delivers a spinning backfist that drops Cobb like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
