The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a sloppy head kick and MacNeill moves out of range easily.
Santos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

MacNeill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Santos pushes MacNeill off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that MacNeill has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
MacNeill shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Fiachra MacNeill has been cut.

Santos throws a right and a left that both miss.
MacNeill tries to counter by closing the distance.
Santos throws a nice looking combination but MacNeill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Santos lands a left and a right that sends MacNeill crashing to the canvas! Santos dives into mount looking to finish!

MacNeill is rocked!
Santos postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! MacNeill is out cold - huge knockout for Santos!
