Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Devon Malcolm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dooho Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Come Sailing Away - Eric Cartman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dooho Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Devon Malcolm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dooho Diaz!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malcolm swings widly with a right hand
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand.
Malcolm thows a left - swing and a miss!
Malcolm slips a straight right by Diaz.
Malcolm misses the shot to the body.
Diaz flicks out a counter leg kick but Malcolm steps away.
Diaz lands a nice shot to the body.

Malcolm keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diaz's head.
Malcolm postures up in Diaz's guard and throws a big left but Diaz blocks it.

Malcolm postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Malcolm throws a strike aimed at the side of Diaz's head but Diaz avoids it well.
Diaz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Malcolm cracks Diaz with a big right hand but Diaz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Malcolm lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Malcolm looks up at the clock and then as Diaz takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Malcolm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malcolm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Malcolm just content to control the position.

Malcolm in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Diaz looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Malcolm turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

After the fight, Devon Malcolm was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
