And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Badr Saki!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saki shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Saki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looks like Badr Saki has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Saki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Saki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Saki just stands there and leans against the cage.
Johnson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Johnson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Saki lands a hook that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Johnson will probably get the nod.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Saki keeps it at a distance.
Saki dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Saki's head and hops out.
