Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Gowing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenik Krejza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cameron Gowing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jenik Krejza!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krejza gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gowing to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Krejza is trying to control the position but Gowing postures up.
Gowing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Gowing slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gowing throws an elbow that misses. Krejza uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gowing's guard. Nice move by Krejza!

Gowing looking for a sweep. Not yet Gowing, not yet.
Gowing is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Krejza pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gowing is keeping the position for now.

Gowing has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krejza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gowing holds on and takes a little breather.
Gowing bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krejza's guard.

Krejza has his feet on Gowing's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Gowing shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Krejza looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gowing is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Krejza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gowing.
Krejza makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Krejza.

Krejza is wriggling around but Gowing manages to pass to half guard.

Gowing is pressing down on Krejza's thigh, looking to free his foot. Krejza is holding on for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gowing is staying tight to Krejza's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Gowing bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Krejza wants to get back to his feet but Gowing drags him back down.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gowing cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Jenik Krejza has been cut.
Gowing fails to move to back control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krejza is working to get back to half guard.
Gowing cracks Krejza with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up Jenik Krejza's cut even more.
Cameron Gowing overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Krejza tries to reverse the position but Gowing maintains control.

Gowing scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Krejza is rocked!

The cut above Jenik Krejza's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Gowing loads up with a big shot that hurts Krejza! He's pulled Gowing in close but Gowing has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Krejza survive? More strikes from Gowing and Krejza is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
