Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Tafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Abueva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tafari kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Calvin Abueva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tafari tries a head kick but it misses.
Abueva is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Abueva lands the left hand.
Tafari walks into a straight right hand from Abueva.
Abueva scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Abueva catches Tafari with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tafari fails with a takedown attempt.
Abueva looks to land a combination but Tafari avoids it well.
Tafari takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tafari ducks right into an uppercut from Abueva.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tafari misses with a kick to the body.
Tafari shoots in for a double leg but Abueva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Calvin Abueva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abueva scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Abueva tests Tafari's chin there with a solid looking shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tafari takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A jab from Abueva does it's job there.
Abueva lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Tafari head around and knocks him out cold! Abueva hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
