The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cwikla closes the distance and pushes Hays back into the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Cwikla.
Hays looking for a takedown.
Cwikla misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hays.
A bit of stalling here from Cwikla.
Cwikla looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Cwikla doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hays wants to take the fight to the mat but Cwikla manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Hays drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cwikla pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Hays. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cwikla fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Cwikla closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hays goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cwikla prevents it.

Cwikla lands a nice uppercut.
Cwikla is pressed up against the cage. Hays has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cwikla down to the mat. Cwikla avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cwikla fakes the body blow, causing Hays to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hays goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
