Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Kakihara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kakihara comes into the arena with ZEEBRA - BUSHIDO blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Slim Jim!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jim tries for a takedown but Kakihara sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kakihara stuffs the takedown attempt from Jim. Jim gets slowly back to his feet.
Kakihara throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jim feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kakihara throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Kakihara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jim is posturing up here but Kakihara has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jim tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jim has to tap! Slick submission there by Kakihara!
