Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Goat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Mfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Billy Goat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jones Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Goat crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mfer - the referee stops the clock and Goat gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mfer. Goat manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mfer connects with a single shot there.
Mfer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mfer misses with an uppercut. Goat saw that one coming.
Goat is looking to counter the offense by Mfer and move into the clinch.
Mfer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Goat.
Mfer throws a leg kick but Goat sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mfer lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mfer cracks a nice hook into Goat's ribs.
Goat closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Goat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mfer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mfer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Mfer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mfer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Goat.
Mfer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Goat checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Goat tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Mfer manages to circle out of the way.
Nice straight punches there by Mfer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mfer.
Goat looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mfer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Mfer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Goat's calf.

As Mfer tries to get set, Goat tries to push him back and clinch up but Mfer manages to avoid the attempt.

Goat moves away from the strike by Mfer.
Mfer is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Mfer thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Goat if he has to take too many more of those.

Goat dives in and scores a takedown into Mfer's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Goat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goat drops back looking for a leg! Mfer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mfer manages to kick Goat off! Goat jumps back into Mfer's guard.

Goat trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Mfer manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Mfer is looking to stand up but Goat won't let him.

Goat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Goat is pressing down on Mfer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mfer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Goat has his foot on Mfer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mfer works his way back into a safe position though.

Mfer fails to land with a series of punches.

Goat shoots in looking for a takedown but Mfer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Goat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jones Mfer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Goat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Goat landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Goat misses with a head shot. Mfer uses the momentum to regain guard.
Goat keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mfer's head.

Goat had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mfer defends it easily.

Goat looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mfer has picked Goat up and slammed him! Goat can't keep hold of the triangle and Mfer manages to pass to side control!
Billy Goat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Mfer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
