The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Swift pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Savage takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Savage gets tackled into the cage by Swift . Swift maintains the clinch.
Savage really is a fat lump.
Swift 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Swift moves into the clinch.
Swift using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Savage is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Swift stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swift breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swift shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savage sprawls well. Savage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Swift gets slowly back to his feet.

Swift throws a head kick but Savage moves out of range.
Swift closes the distance and clinches.
Savage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Swift rushes Savage and presses him up against the cage.
Swift is looking to take this one to the mat.
Savage takes a shot to the head.
Swift 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A body shot lands from Swift .
Swift breaks from the clinch.
Swift gets the takedown into side control.

A lull in the action here.
Swift goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Savage rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Swift 's guard! Nice work there by Savage!
Savage is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
Swift is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Savage working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Swift looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Swift wants to stand but Savage is controlling the position.

Savage gets to his feet. Swift looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Swift gets tackled into the cage by Savage. Savage maintains the clinch.
Savage wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Savage has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Swift after a bit of a struggle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swift has Savage pressed against the cage, preventing Savage from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Swift manages to break the clinch.
Savage shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Swift sprawls well. Swift wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Savage gets slowly back to his feet.
Savage tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Some wild striking there from Swift .
The crowd cheers as Swift lands an impressive looking overhand right. Savage doesn't seem phased though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Swift dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Swift ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Swift clinches up with Savage and pushes him back against the cage.
Swift has Savage pressed against the cage, preventing Savage from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Swift has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Savage jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Swift walks away with a smile on his face. Savage gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Danga de danga de dang - Swift scores with a four punch combination!
Savage is rocked!
Swift steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Savage is out on his feet! Swift sets himself and nearly takes Savage's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
