Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Imus Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Pepinhos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pepinhos has chosen Macaco - Hacen Falta Dos as his entrance music. Marco Pepinhos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepinhos throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Yu's head.
Yu throws a jab when Pepinhos was well out of range.
Pepinhos throws a one two combo.
Pepinhos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yu's waist but Yu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pepinhos off to one side.

Yu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pepinhos sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Pepinhos fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yu.

Pepinhos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Yu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pepinhos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yu to the mat. Yu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Yu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Pepinhos shoots for a double leg takedown but Yu sprawls well. He's pushed Pepinhos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yu is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Yu's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Yu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pepinhos smiles and moves away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Pepinhos.
Pepinhos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pepinhos. That one must have hurt.
Pepinhos feints and then cracks Yu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yu down.
Pepinhos has a takedown stuffed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marco Pepinhos dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pepinhos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Yu is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Pepinhos is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yu can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
