Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Walcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kunta Kinte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Walcott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kunta Kinte!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinte shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walcott defends it nicely.
Walcott appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Walcott throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice shot lands for Walcott.
Kinte walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kinte fails with the takedown
and Walcott counters with a nice uppercut.
Kinte gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Walcott has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tommy Walcott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kunta Kinte.
Walcott fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kinte looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Walcott stuffs the takedown attempt from Kinte. Kinte gets slowly back to his feet.
Kinte tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Walcott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice straight punches there by Walcott. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Walcott.
Walcott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kinte in his tracks.

Walcott instigates a clinch.
Kinte is trying to force a seperation but Walcott has the dominant position.
Kinte is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Kinte manages to pull guard.
Kinte pulls Walcott in close to prevent any damage.
Walcott with a flurry of punches that miss.
Walcott has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kinte is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kinte is taking a breather. Walcott says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kinte works his way into full mount!

Kinte manages to capitalize on a mistake by Walcott to take his back!

Walcott is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walcott is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Walcott covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Walcott is really stuck here.
Kinte lands shots from the back.
Walcott covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Walcott wants to escape the position.
Kinte really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Walcott.

Kinte is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Kinte is riding his opponent, not letting Walcott buck him off.

Kinte is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Walcott tries to escape but Kinte has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommy Walcott will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nice takedown defense from Walcott. No joy for Kinte on that attempt.

Kinte moves in looking to clinch but Walcott pushes him off.
Kinte throws the kick towards the body but Walcott avoids it.
Walcott appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Kinte misses with a two punch combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walcott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kinte fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kinte throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walcott's waist but Walcott gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kinte off to one side.
Tommy Walcott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kunta Kinte.

Walcott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Walcott lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tommy Walcott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinte tries to clinch but Walcott moves out of range.

Walcott dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kinte's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Walcott digs a right hand into Kinte's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kinte's gas tank.
Walcott lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kinte backwards.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Walcott.

Walcott is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kinte has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walcott is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kinte is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Walcott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Walcott works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Walcott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kinte takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kinte takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Walcott jabs at Kinte's body.
Walcott scores with a jab to the head.
Walcott wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Walcott scores with a nice head shot.
Walcott lands with a hook. Kinte tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kinte shoots in looking for a takedown but Walcott manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kinte's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Walcott connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kinte's hands.
Walcott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kinte in his tracks.
Kinte misses with a few strikes there.

Walcott cracks Kinte with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kinte fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walcott avoids it really well and circles away.
Walcott feinted with a counter takedown.
Walcott scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kinte ducks right into an uppercut from Walcott.
Tommy Walcott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kinte takes a jab right on the kisser.
Walcott jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kunta Kinte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nice cross by Walcott.
Walcott misses with a series of wild punches.
Walcott dips to his left and cracks Kinte with an uppercut!

Walcott lands with a hook. Kinte tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kinte tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Walcott smiles and moves away.
Kinte shoots in but Walcott avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kinte tries to move into range but Walcott moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Walcott scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Walcott lands with a cross.
Walcott is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Kinte takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Walcott lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Walcott connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Walcott lands a nice shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tommy Walcott dominated that second round.
That's time! Walcott's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Kinte takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Walcott sizes up Kinte with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


Kinte is rocked!
Tommy Walcott is winning the standup battle so far.
Walcott walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kinte drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Walcott swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kinte's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Walcott!
Tommy Walcott tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
