Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martti Molski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Venger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venger has chosen Live and Let Die as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martti Molski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vladimir Venger!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venger misses with a straight left.
Molski tries to counter with a takedown but Venger is quick to defend against it.
Molski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Venger circles away.
Martti Molski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Molski fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Venger to the ground. Molski is now in Venger's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Molski isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Venger stacks Molski on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Venger!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Venger enables Molski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Venger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Venger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Molski is controlling him.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Venger is on top in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Molski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Molski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Venger.
Molski closes the distance and clinches up with Venger, looking for a takedown. Molski pushes Venger against the cage but Venger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Martti Molski will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Venger tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Molski.

Vladimir Venger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Molski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Venger tries to avoid it but Molski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Venger to the ground. Venger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Venger throws out a counter right but Molski avoids it with no problem.

and Venger counters with a left hand that sends Molski to the canvas!

Venger stands up and waves to Molski to follow him.
Oh Molski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Venger lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Molski head around and knocks him out cold! Venger hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladimir Venger!
Vladimir Venger took to the mic in his post fight interview and said '205 Venger is an even scarier Venger, beware!'.
