The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behera tries to clinch but Hankala is having none of it.
Hankala fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Behera is out of range.
Hankala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Behera connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hankala. Hankala circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hankala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hankala avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Behera wants to clinch.
Behera fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hankala feinted with a counter takedown.
Hankala throws a lazy head kick
and Behera counters with a nice uppercut.
Hankala shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hankala showed some decent athleticism there.
Hankala is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hankala has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Behera defend it? Hankala steps over the head and cranks it - Behera is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hankala!
