Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Trotoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tomas fonacier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Trotoz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, tomas fonacier!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
fonacier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Trotoz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Trotoz doesn't manage to clinch there - fonacier circles away.
Trotoz fails in his attempt to clinch.
fonacier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trotoz as he avoids it easily.

fonacier drives through with a takedown into guard.

Trotoz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for fonacier on the ground.

fonacier is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Trotoz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time fonacier.

fonacier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

fonacier seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Trotoz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. fonacier lands a nice short elbow.

You get the feeling that Trotoz really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
fonacier can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Trotoz is looking to escape.

fonacier is going olschool here, as he tries to force Trotoz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Trotoz shrugs it off.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Horrible takedown by fonacier or perhaps it was just good defense by Trotoz which made him look bad.
fonacier swats away the attempt to clinch by Trotoz.

fonacier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

fonacier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no fonacier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Trotoz is pushing fonacier's head away, looking to escape. fonacier manages to hold on to the position though.
Trotoz is working to avoid the ground and pound but fonacier connects with a decent elbow.
Trotoz is looking to work his way out of this bad position but fonacier is controlling him well.

fonacier is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Trotoz looks calm but he's in trouble here. fonacier gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Trotoz is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! fonacier lets go of the hold and Trotoz can pop his arm back in it's socket.
