Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Gould (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viveha Mithran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gould closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mithran circles away.
Mithran throws a head kick that misses

and Gould moves into the clinch.
Gould fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Mithran ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mithran no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mithran can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mithran had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gould defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gould stands up from Mithran's guard - Gould perhaps looking for a knockout.

Gould misses with a takedown attempt - Mithran sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mithran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gould swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Mithran manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gould on his heels. He'll look to pass Gould's guard now, I'm sure.
Gould has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Mithran with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mithran lands a couple of elbows.

Mithran tries to free his leg and advance position but Gould is retaining full guard.

Gould has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mithran can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mithran lands a couple of digs.

Mithran drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gould looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gould looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gould!

Mithran tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gould wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Mithran's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mithran is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gould is staying active.
Mithran looks winded!

Gould wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mithran keeps working.

Gould has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Mithran misses with a kick to the body.
Gould shoots in for a takedown but Mithran shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Mithran closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gould's guard.

Gould pushes Mithran off and gets back to his feet.

As Mithran tries to get set, Gould tries to push him back and clinch up but Mithran manages to avoid the attempt.
Gould shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mithran pinned against the cage. Mithran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gould.
Gould sets himself, and Mithran steps forward looking for the clinch! Gould avoids it this time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gould wants to get back to striking at distance but Mithran won't allow it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gould checks a leg kick.
Gould looks for a takedown but Mithran sprawls well.

Mithran throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gould was covering up waiting for the punch and Mithran finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gould is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
