Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Tai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brason Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brason Jenkins is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tai looks to clinch
and Jenkins counters with a straight right hand.

Tai drives through and clinches with Jenkins against the cage.
Jenkins prevents a body shot from Tai.
Tai misses with a body punch.

Jenkins breaks the clinch.
Tai tries to clinch up but Jenkins circles away and keeps his distance.

Jenkins feints and as Tai raises his hands in defense, Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tai throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Tai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jenkins defends it easily.

Jenkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenkins has managed to get both his arms back between Tai's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jenkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tai has momentary wrist control but Jenkins slips an elbow through the middle.

Tai working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jenkins has passed into half guard!
Still in half guard, Jenkins seems content to control.
Tai is pressing down on Jenkins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jenkins passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Tai tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jenkins presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Tai is looking to improve his position but Jenkins isn't that keen on the idea.

Tai regains half guard.
Tai makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tai.
Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Tai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tai looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jenkins trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tai's guard.

Tai looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jenkins is defending well. Tai quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jenkins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tai celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
