Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Coach Jameson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, El Matador!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Matador is predictable there
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jameson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Matador has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Matador throws a series of punches but Jameson moves out of range.
Matador throws a series of punches but Jameson avoids them all with ease.
Matador throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jameson.
Jameson jabs Matador to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Matador swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jameson lands the left hand.
Matador fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jameson checks it well.
Jameson tried to counter with a leg kick but Matador avoided it.
Matador will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've been told by Jameson's head coaches at River's Edge Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jameson throws a nice head kick!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bone on bone clash there as Jameson blocks the leg kick.
Matador looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Matador misses with a leg kick
and Jameson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Matador throws a leg kick
and Jameson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
El Matador seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jameson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Matador's sensitive parts.
Jameson avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jameson connects with a leg kick. Matador looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jameson thows a body kick. Matador tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Jameson lands a big head kick that sends Matador tumbling to the mat! Jameson takes a step backwards and waves Matador back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Matador is rocked!
Matador misses with a leg kick
and Jameson rattles Matador with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Matador tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Jameson dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Matador stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Coach Jameson!
Coach Jameson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
