PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haruto Suo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suo has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Daniels !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haruto Suo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Suo.
Suo tries for a takedown but Daniels circles away easily
letting Daniels counter with a right hand.

It looks like Haruto Suo has been cut.
Suo looks winded!
Suo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Suo walks straight into a right hand from Daniels - that's dropped him! Daniels jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Suo from any more punishment! Suo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Daniels !
A relieved looking Jack Daniels thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
