Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirius Dacke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sirius Dacke!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sirius Dacke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stevens got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dacke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stevens has managed to get both his arms back between Dacke's legs - danger averted.
Stevens wants to control from the top but Dacke keeps moving.
Dacke is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Stevens is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dacke is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dacke has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Let's hope that Dacke has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Stevens shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dacke as he jumps to the side.
Stevens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stevens wants it to stay on the feet.
Stevens throws a big counter combination but Dacke scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dacke slips a jab and a cross from Stevens.

Stevens is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dacke pulls his head out easily.

Dacke decides to return to a standing position.
Dacke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stevens circles away.
Stevens takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Sirius Dacke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stevens has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dacke is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stevens.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dacke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stevens sprawls well. Stevens wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dacke gets slowly back to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
