The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm is looking to clinch but Dillard is avoiding it.
Dillard has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Storm is landing a low percentage of strikes.
No luck for Dillard with that takedown attempt.

Storm shoots for a double leg takedown but Dillard sprawls well. He's pushed Storm's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dillard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Storm defends well and Dillard ends up having to push Storm into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dillard swats away the attempt to clinch by Storm.

Dillard is refusing to be controlled, as Storm sits in half guard.
Storm tries to stand and escape but Dillard is controlling the position.

Storm is stalling here. Dillard is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Storm seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dillard has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Dillard content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

As Dillard looks to move away, Storm throws a big counter combo but Dillard just gets out of the way.
Dillard needs to keep his hands up - Storm had a free shot at his head there.
Storm fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dillard avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Storm shoots in looking for a takedown. Dillard tries to sprawl out of it but Storm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dillard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

And Dillard tries to counter it with a takedown but Storm pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Storm shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Storm showed some decent athleticism there.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Storm here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Storm wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dillard's closed guard. He's half up but Dillard has locked on to an arm! Uh oh!
