Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Negreiros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edvard Grieg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grieg comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In the Hall of the Mountain King kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Edvard Grieg enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negreiros throws a hook but Grieg blocks it.
Grieg feints the counter takedown.
A nice inside leg kick there by Grieg. That's going to slow Negreiros down.

Negreiros feints a jab promting Grieg to slip. Negreiros then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Grieg slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Grieg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Negreiros won't be happy with that.
We've been hearing good reports from Negreiros's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
