Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dom Selleck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ LaRussa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as TJ LaRussa enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Selleck!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ LaRussa!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRussa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Selleck throws a series of punches but LaRussa moves out of range.
No joy there for Selleck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
LaRussa moves in looking to clinch but Selleck pushes him off.
Selleck walks into a straight right hand from LaRussa.
LaRussa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Selleck swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

LaRussa gets a clinch.
Selleck misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Selleck wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

LaRussa breaks the clinch.
LaRussa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Selleck misses with a two punch combination.
Selleck lands a jab to LaRussa's midsection.
LaRussa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Selleck swinging wilding here.
Selleck throws a combination but it was largely blocked by LaRussa.
LaRussa catches Selleck with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Selleck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but LaRussa circles away quickly and effectively.
LaRussa scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Selleck connects with a good right hand that stumbles LaRussa. LaRussa circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
LaRussa thows a left - swing and a miss!
LaRussa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Selleck counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Selleck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

LaRussa moves into the clinch.
Good body shot from LaRussa.
Selleck is trying to break the clinch but LaRussa has him pressed against the ropes.

LaRussa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Selleck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and LaRussa counters with an outside leg kick.
Selleck throws a right hand that LaRussa ducks under and follows up with a left that LaRussa also avoids with ease.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from LaRussa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Selleck has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Selleck and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

LaRussa swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Selleck counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A jab from Selleck misses.
LaRussa scores with a sloppy right hand. Selleck should have avoided that one.
LaRussa tries to close the distance and clinch but Selleck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
LaRussa lands a jab to Selleck's midsection.
Selleck is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
LaRussa works over Selleck's head and body with a nice combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
LaRussa throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


Selleck is rocked!
TJ LaRussa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LaRussa lands with a right that hurts Selleck. Selleck looks to clinch but LaRussa throws a short knee that drops Selleck. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). TJ LaRussa!
