The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Anderson moves into range and clinches up with Heath.
Anderson lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Leo Heath has been cut.
Anderson lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Heath on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Heath pulls guard effortlessly.
Anderson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Heath is proving hard to escape from.
Heath bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.

Anderson is looking to stand back up but Heath counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Anderson.
Heath stops Anderson from getting back to his feet.
Anderson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Anderson tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Heath manages to move to mount!
Anderson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Heath pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Heath working the ground and pound effectively.
Anderson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Heath is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Anderson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Anderson is trying to stand up.

Heath wants to finish this one by submission but Anderson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Heath.
Anderson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Anderson bucks Heath off and manages to get back to his feet!

and Heath counters with a three punch combo that has Anderson backing up. Anderson nods at Heath to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anderson darts in and clinches Heath up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Anderson obliges.
Anderson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Heath's defenses.
Anderson lands an elbow just above Heath 's eye.

Knees in the clinch landing for Anderson.

Anderson lands an elbow that stopped Heath in his tracks for a moment.

Leo Heath's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Jeez, Leo Heath's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leo Heath's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
