The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels blocks a jab.
Michaels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dragan defends it nicely.
Dragan throwing a counter right hand but Michaels manages to avoid it.
Dragan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Michaels manages to avoid it.
Michaels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Michaels has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dragan fails to pull guard.

Dragan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Michaels gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Dragan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Michaels is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dragan to the mat. Dragan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Dragan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dragan has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Michaels doesn't defend quickly enough and Dragan has managed to lock this one up! Can Michaels escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dragan on a fantastic submission victory.

In his post fight interview, Vas Dragan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
