Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alton Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Evans!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans blocks a head kick by Harris.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Evans is defended easily by Harris.
Harris misses with a series of wild punches.
Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Harris!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evans tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Evans has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Evans is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Evans is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Harris tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Evans goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Harris has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Evans but great work by Harris.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Evans is looking for a sweep.
Harris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground.

Harris tries to stand but Evans is controlling his head.
Harris wants to take a breather but Evans manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Harris.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Evans looking for a triangle here. Harris is fighting it but it looks tight! Evans pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Harris is tapping out - this one is all over!
