Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quiero Taco!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taco gets a clinch.
Taco misses with a hook from the clinch.
Conlon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Taco pulls his leg out and moves away.
Taco dives in for a single leg takedown but Conlon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Taco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Taco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Taco shoots in for a takedown but Conlon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Conlon half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Conlon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Conlon.
Conlon distracts Taco with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Taco preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conlon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Conlon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Conlon drops back looking for a leg! Taco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Taco manages to kick Conlon off! Conlon jumps back into Taco's guard.

Conlon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Taco looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Taco looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Taco!

Conlon is looking for a sweep.

Taco takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Conlon manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Conlon has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Taco. Oh but Conlon has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Taco goes limp - he's gone! Conlon jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Tommy Conlon spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
