The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrett tries to keep at a distance but Lloyd has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lloyd pulls guard effortlessly.
Barrett is fighting to break Lloyd's control of his arms but Lloyd is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barrett pushes off an throws an elbow but Lloyd leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lloyd tries to control Barrett's body but Barrett pushes him off. Lloyd squirms to his side and now Barrett has his back!

A close round but Chris Lloyd will probably get the nod.
That's time! Barrett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lloyd misses with a kick to the body
and Barrett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lloyd won't be happy with that.
Lloyd is looking for a sweep.
Barrett is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lloyd will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lloyd is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Lloyd bucks up and tries to throw Barrett off but instead Barrett has got his back!
Barrett is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barrett's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
You can see the frustration on Lloyd's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lloyd is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Barrett.

Barrett has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Lloyd! Can he survive? No! He's out! Barrett gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
