Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes to the cage accompanied by "Phenomenon" by Thousand Foot Krutch. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power fails to land the takedown.
Power shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evans as he jumps to the side.
Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for Power on that attempt.
Alex Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Power.
Power shoots in but Evans avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Power showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Evans.
Power shoots in for a double leg but Evans sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Power is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Power circles away quickly and effectively.
Evans throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Power stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Evans.
Evans throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Power looks for a takedown but Evans sprawls well.
Evans swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Max Power seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Power or perhaps it was just good defense by Evans which made him look bad.

Evans shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Evans was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Evans throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Power has his hands clasped together but Evans breaks the hold and Power is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Evans!
