The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Pacas walks into a straight right hand from Tepes.
De Pacas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tepes misses the body punch
and De Pacas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tepes throws a poor cross that misses
and De Pacas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tepes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Pacas moves away.
De Pacas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tepes.
A big right from Tepes misses.
De Pacas is looking for the big counter here.
De Pacas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tepes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
De Pacas unleashes a big counter combination but Tepes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A shot to the liver by De Pacas. Beautiful body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A jab from Tepes finds it's way through De Pacas's defenses.
Tepes moves away from the strike by De Pacas.
Tepes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tepes jabs De Pacas right on the nose. De Pacas blinks but takes it well.
Tepes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Pacas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
De Pacas unleashes a big counter combination but Tepes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Tepes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
De Pacas's coach down at Omerta MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on De Pacas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and De Pacas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
