The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santo Cristo throws an off balance right hand
and Anderson counters with a low kick, right behind De Santo Cristo 's knee.
Anderson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Santo Cristo slips a straight right by Anderson.
De Santo Cristo wants to counter the offense by Anderson and move into the clinch position.
Anderson misses with a straight right.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from De Santo Cristo - that will leave a mark!
De Santo Cristo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Anderson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! De Santo Cristo scrambles back to his feet.
De Santo Cristo throws a shot to the body.
Anderson throws a leg kick but De Santo Cristo sees it coming and checks it nicely.
De Santo Cristo jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Anderson misses the jab.
De Santo Cristo throws a leg kick which misses Anderson's front leg but catches the back leg as Anderson tries to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Santo Cristo misses with a hook to the ribs.

De Santo Cristo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Anderson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Anderson controls De Santo Cristo momentarily but De Santo Cristo frees himself.

De Santo Cristo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Anderson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. De Santo Cristo defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson wants to control but De Santo Cristo passes easily into half guard.
De Santo Cristo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Anderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
De Santo Cristo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Anderson moves into full guard.
Anderson is trying to keep De Santo Cristo in close.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw De Santo Cristo working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
De Santo Cristo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De Santo Cristo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Anderson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Anderson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Anderson!

De Santo Cristo is trying to improve his position.
Anderson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, De Santo Cristo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Anderson's guard! Nice work there by De Santo Cristo!
Anderson has his feet on De Santo Cristo's thighs here. He's pushed De Santo Cristo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! De Santo Cristo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
