The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persley scores with a sloppy right hand. Dangerfield should have avoided that one.

Dangerfield has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You get the feeling that Persley really doesn't like being in this position too much.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rocco Dangerfield dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dangerfield takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Dangerfield tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Persley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dangerfield takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


It looks like Rocco Dangerfield has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Persley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dangerfield thinking.
Persley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A left and a right from Persley both land. Nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Persley looks to land a combination. Dangerfield sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Persley weaves into range and cracks Dangerfield right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Dangerfield goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Persley is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Demetrius Persley !
