Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tiburcio Aguirre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terence Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiss bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Aguirre's head backwards.
Aguirre drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Weiss scores with a jab to the head.
Aguirre with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Weiss to score with a decent uppercut.
Weiss throws an off balance right hand
and Aguirre counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Aguirre wants to control from the top but Weiss keeps moving.
Aguirre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Aguirre is really struggling to control Weiss but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Weiss has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Play House. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aguirre stands and throws Weiss's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Aguirre working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Aguirre tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aguirre has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Aguirre has hold of Weiss's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Weiss tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Aguirre cranks the arm and Weiss screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Weiss, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tiburcio Aguirre!
