The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowak uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Good exchange - Nowak coming out on top.
It looks like Matt Griffin has been cut.
Griffin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Griffin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Griffin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nowak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Decent striking displayed by Nowak there.
Nowak uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Griffin.
Nowak swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Griffin.
Griffin is rocked!
Griffin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nowak shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Griffin takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Nowak sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Griffin bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
