The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hope keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hope shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcdonno pinned against the cage. Mcdonno gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And Mcdonno tries to counter it with a takedown but Hope pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Mcdonno darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hope kicks Mcdonno off and gets back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hope is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Mcdonno's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hope fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mcdonno scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Mcdonno leaves Hope with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Hope gets a clinch.
Hope tries to pull guard but Mcdonno won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orlando Hope. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcdonno has Hope pushed against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hope.

Hope gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Hope is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mcdonno has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hope is looking to defend but Mcdonno has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hope! Mcdonno pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hope taps out and this one is all over!
