The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blockhead takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Man clinches up with Blockhead and pushes him back against the cage.
Blockhead tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Man smiles and moves away.

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Blockhead is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Man tries to control but Blockhead wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blockhead really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Man looking to ground and pound but Blockhead is blocking nicely.
Man misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Blockhead is looking to get to half guard.
Blockhead might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Blockhead is working hard here to advance position.
Blockhead wants to hold on but Man pushes him away.
Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blockhead. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blockhead gets back to half guard.
Blockhead wants to control but Man is keeping busy.
It looks like Man is going to stand back up.
Blockhead is pressing down on Man's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Blockhead has his foot on Man's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Man works his way back into a safe position though.
Man is looking to work some ground and pound but Blockhead has wrist control.

Blockhead escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Man gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Blockhead trying to keep a closed guard but Man is proving a slippery customer.

Man wants to control from the top but Blockhead keeps moving.

Blockhead had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Man is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blockhead Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Man's back instead.

Man trying to control the hands but Blockhead breaks the grip.
Blockhead has the hooks in. Man is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Blockhead is working for a rear naked choke. Man is not defending it well and Blockhead has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Man refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Man's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
