Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
walton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts summerton as he jumps to the side.
summerton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
walton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
summerton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
summerton stands and steps away. walton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
walton tries a head kick but it misses.
walton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from summerton.
summerton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. walton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
summerton drives through with a takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

walton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. summerton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. summerton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

walton wants to sweep but no luck.
walton looks gassed!
summerton wants to pass the guard but walton is keeping the position.
summerton throws a big right hand that misses.
summerton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
summerton is looking to advance position but walton has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
walton trying to control but summerton is having none of it.
summerton tries to buck walton off but he can't manage it.
walton sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
summerton is trying desperately to improve position.
walton is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. summerton can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

summerton is looking to improve his position but walton isn't that keen on the idea.
summerton slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
walton trying to control the action but summerton is working from the bottom.
summerton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if summerton tries to get out of the position.
walton is pressing down on summerton's thigh, looking to free his foot. summerton is holding on for now.
summerton is pressing down on walton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

summerton kicks walton off and gets to his feet.
summerton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but walton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
summerton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
walton tries to clinch but summerton is having none of it.
summerton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - summerton lands in his opponent's guard.
summerton thows a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
will summerton dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
walton tries to clinch up.
walton misses with a takedown attempt
and summerton counters with a nice double leg into side control. walton won't be happy with that.
walton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
summerton has hold of walton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! walton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - summerton cranks the arm and walton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from walton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
