The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rivlin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rivlin working the strikes but Vinokurov uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Rivlin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rivlin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Rivlin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Rivlin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vinokurov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Vinokurov is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rivlin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Vinokurov is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vinokurov is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rivlin lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Vinokurov! Rivlin sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Vinokurov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
