Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxford throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gosh was covering up waiting for the punch and Oxford finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oxford got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Oxford has managed to get both his arms back between Gosh's legs - danger averted.
Oxford trying to control the position from guard on top but Gosh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gosh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oxford is one step ahead there.
Gosh has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oxford content to stall in guard here.

Oxford advances position into side control!
Gosh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Oxford's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gosh is trying to maintain the position but Oxford is very close to passing his half guard.
Oxford prevents Gosh from improving his position.
Gosh is working hard here to advance position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Oxford keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Gosh is looking for a sweep. Oxford is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gosh tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Oxford has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Oxford tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Oxford lands a couple of good shots and Gosh has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Oxford really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Gosh.
Oxford trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Oxford might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gosh haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Oxford is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Gosh wants to escape the position.

Gosh trying to control the action but Oxford just sinks the hooks in.
Oxford throwing wild punches that miss their target.
Oxford controls the action.
Gosh looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Oxford is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Gosh with him. Gosh is trying to defend but Oxford has an arm under the chin now! Gosh grimaces and is forced to tap out!
