Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Lacquio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Lacquio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes.
Lacquio moves away from the strike by Brown.
Lacquio works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Lacquio takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Brown throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lacquio sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lacquio connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lacquio.

Lacquio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Lacquio and Brown goes tumbling to the canvas! Lacquio follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Brown tries to lock up and control but Lacquio gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Brown stops Lacquio from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lacquio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is controlling an arm, preventing Lacquio from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Brown gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lacquio.
A jab from Lacquio misses.
Brown digs a good body shot into Lacquio's ribs.
Lacquio slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Brown blocks a jab.
Lacquio has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lacquio avoids the body shot from Brown.
Brown swings for the body but Lacquio moves out of range.

Brown swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lacquio.
Lacquio misses with a straight right.
Lacquio gets in close and tags Brown with a short punch that almost sends Brown to the mat! Oh Brown is in big trouble! He turns his back on Lacquio, trying to create some distance but Lacquio rushes him, striking wildly and Brown goes down! The referee tackles Lacquio into the cage to end the fight! Lacquio is one violent man!
