Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petey Bartlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Carver told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Petey Bartlett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthony Carver!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartlett uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Carver has time to react.

It looks like Anthony Carver has been cut.
A punch combination from Bartlett misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Carver! But no joy.

Carver closes the distance and clinches.
Bartlett definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bartlett misses with a punch on the inside.
Carver struggles to land a body shot inside as Bartlett controls his hands.
Bartlett keeps control of Carver as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Carver looks winded!

Bartlett breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bartlett feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Carver sprawling to the canvas! Carver rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bartlett finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A good leg kick by Bartlett.
Carver is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bartlett misses with a body kick.
Carver swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Carver throws a one two combo.
Bartlett misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bartlett throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A decent looking cross lands there for Bartlett.

That has opened up Anthony Carver's cut even more.

Bartlett lands a big uppercut and Carver crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carver looks OK. Bartlett waves Carver back to his feet!

Carver is rocked!
Bartlett throws a pinpoint strike between Carver's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Carver crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Bartlett scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Petey Bartlett!
