PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dilllon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Real Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Real Me was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dilllon Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Real Me!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Taylor is taking a breather. Me says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Me has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Taylor is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Me really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Taylor connects with a nice short shot to Me's temple.

It looks like Real Me has been cut.

Me is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Me taking some punishment here, with Taylor in his half guard.
Me is still in real trouble! Can Taylor finish him?
Taylor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Me with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Taylor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Taylor lands a nice short elbow.


The cut above Real Me's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Taylor is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Me is hurt! He's hurt bad - Taylor fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Me from any more punishment! Congratulations to Taylor! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dilllon Taylor!
