Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamey Lungerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Son Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamey Lungerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lee Son Han!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lungerson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Son Han but Son Han pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lungerson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lungerson closes the distance and pushes Son Han back into the cage.

Son Han manages to break the clinch.
Son Han shoots for a double leg takedown but Lungerson sprawls well. He's pushed Son Han's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Son Han throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lungerson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Son Han is in Lungerson's guard.
Son Han is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Son Han wants to stand but Lungerson is controlling his posture from full guard.

Son Han stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lungerson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lungerson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lungerson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lungerson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Son Han pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Son Han pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Son Han clinches up against the cage.

Son Han's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Son Han is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lungerson's half guard.
Lungerson tries to get to full guard but Son Han has control of the leg.

Lungerson is looking for a sweep.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Lungerson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Son Han tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Son Han takes a little break here. Lungerson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee Son Han dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Lungerson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lungerson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lungerson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Son Han is defended easily by Lungerson.

A nice side step and Son Han releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Lungerson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lungerson throws a low kick but Son Han avoids it.
Lungerson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lungerson wants it to stay on the feet.

Lungerson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Son Han as he avoids it easily.
And Son Han tries to counter it with a takedown but Lungerson pushes his down on his head and steps out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jamey Lungerson will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Lungerson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lungerson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Son Han in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lungerson controls Son Han momentarily but Son Han frees himself.
Lungerson is really struggling to control Son Han but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Lungerson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Son Han wants to get up but he can't break Lungerson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Son Han tries to clinch but Lungerson moves out of range.

Son Han closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lungerson to the mat! Lungerson manages to get full guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Son Han throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lungerson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Son Han is looking to work some ground and pound but Lungerson has wrist control.
Son Han works over Lungerson with some ground and pound from guard.
Son Han controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lungerson can't keep his opponent in guard - Son Han advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Lungerson won't allow Son Han to pass to mount.
Son Han wants to stand up but Lungerson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Lungerson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Son Han on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lungerson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Son Han keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamey Lungerson.
I think Lungerson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
