Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joseph Murray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Noam Dar!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dar has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Murray throws a head kick that half lands.
Murray is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Murray.
Murray throws a head kick that Dar semi-blocks.
Dar throws a head kick that misses
and Murray counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Murray throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murray tries to avoid it but Dar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murray to the ground. Murray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Murray sizes up Dar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Murray connects with a solid leg kick.
Murray moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murray has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Murray, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
