PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suren Nazarethyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazarethyan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Amerika. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazarethyan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Darrow can pounce on him.
Darrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nazarethyan.

Darrow clinches up with Nazarethyan and pushes him back against the cage.
Darrow gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Darrow throws a punch but it's blocked by Nazarethyan.
Nazarethyan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nazarethyan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Darrow is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Nazarethyan goes for a double leg but Darrow avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Darrow continues to drive forward.

Nazarethyan wants to get up but he can't break Darrow's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
